HomeFlow Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of HomeFlow. By creating an account, signing in, or using HomeFlow, you agree to these Terms.

HomeFlow is a shared household organization tool that may include calendar views, shared tasks, grocery lists, recipes, meal planning, household invitations, and other family organization features.

HomeFlow is currently provided in early access by an individual developer and is not operated by a registered company.

Features may be added, changed, limited, or removed as HomeFlow continues to develop.

You must be at least 18 years old to create and use a HomeFlow account.

An adult account holder may use HomeFlow to organize activities involving children or other members of their household, but children do not create or maintain HomeFlow accounts themselves.

HomeFlow currently uses Google sign-in. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google account and for activity performed through your HomeFlow account.

A person who creates a household may be designated as the household owner. Household owners may invite other people and manage certain household settings.

Members of a household may be able to view, create, edit, or delete shared household information depending on the features and permissions available in HomeFlow.

You are responsible for inviting only people you trust to access your household.

Invitation links are intended only for the person you choose to invite. Invitation links may expire, may be limited to a single use, and should not be shared with anyone you do not want to have access to the household.

You may not use HomeFlow to:

• store, share, or distribute unlawful content;
• harass, threaten, impersonate, or harm another person;
• abuse invitations, including sending unsolicited or excessive invitations;
• attempt to access another user’s account or another household without authorization;
• interfere with the security or operation of HomeFlow;
• attempt to bypass access controls or other security protections; or
• use HomeFlow for fraudulent, abusive, or illegal purposes.

We may restrict or suspend access if we reasonably believe an account is being used in violation of these Terms or in a way that may harm HomeFlow or its users.

HomeFlow may connect to Google Calendar when you authorize that connection.

HomeFlow only reads calendar information from calendars that you choose to make available within HomeFlow.

HomeFlow does not create, edit, or delete events in your Google Calendar.

You may disconnect Google Calendar access through the options available in HomeFlow or through your Google account settings.

HomeFlow is designed around shared household information.

Information such as tasks, grocery items, meal plans, household events, and other shared content may be visible to other members of the same household.

You should only add information that you are comfortable sharing with the members of your household.

Removing yourself from a household or deleting your personal account does not necessarily remove shared household content that remains associated with a household used by other members.

HomeFlow may rely on or display information from third-party services. These may include services such as:

• Open-Meteo for weather information;
• TheMealDB for recipe information;
• Google for authentication and Google Calendar access; and
• Resend for certain transactional emails, such as household invitations.

Third-party services are operated independently from HomeFlow. We do not control them and cannot guarantee their accuracy, availability, security, or continued operation.

Recipe information is displayed based on information supplied by the applicable source. HomeFlow does not intentionally invent nutrition information, cooking times, servings, or other recipe details that are not provided by the source.

Weather forecasts, recipes, calendar information, and other third-party information should not be relied upon where exact or safety-critical information is required.

Your use of HomeFlow is also subject to the HomeFlow Privacy Policy, which explains what information HomeFlow collects, why it is used, and how it is handled.

Because HomeFlow includes shared household features, some information you add may be visible to other members of your household.

You are responsible for deciding what information you choose to share through HomeFlow.

You may stop using HomeFlow at any time.

You may also delete your HomeFlow account through the account settings when that option is available.

Account deletion is intended to remove your personal HomeFlow account and associated personal connections. However, deleting your account may not delete shared household content that belongs to, was contributed to, or remains accessible to other members of a household.

If you are the owner of a household that has other members, HomeFlow may require ownership of that household to be transferred before your account can be deleted.

If you are the only member of a household, deletion of your account may also result in deletion of that household and its associated shared data.

Account deletion may be permanent and may not be reversible.

We may suspend or terminate access to HomeFlow if you violate these Terms, misuse the service, create security risks, or engage in unlawful or abusive activity.

HomeFlow is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, HomeFlow is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory.

We do not guarantee that HomeFlow will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or free from data loss.

HomeFlow is an organizational convenience tool and should not be used as the sole source for information where missing or incorrect information could create a safety, financial, legal, medical, or other significant risk.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, HomeFlow and the individual who develops and operates it will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or similar damages arising from or related to your use of HomeFlow.

This may include, for example, damages resulting from missed events, incomplete or incorrect calendar information, inaccurate weather or recipe information, service interruptions, or loss of data.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such liability cannot legally be excluded or limited.

HomeFlow is under active development, and its features may change over time.

We may also update these Terms from time to time.

When we make changes, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. If a change materially affects your rights or obligations, we may provide additional notice where appropriate.

Your continued use of HomeFlow after updated Terms become effective means you agree to the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
